It was a beautiful day. We couldn't have asked for better weather or a cooler location.

Will, Carolyn, and I traveled up to Herington, Ks to do Carolyn's sister Allison's senior pictures.

We had a really good time and Allison did a great job. We found a stretch of abandoned rail-cars that were amazing.

Will is a fan of B&W so he shot a lot of film, and I shot one roll. 

All in all I felt that it was a very successful weekend. It was a lot of fun, and we got a lot of extraordinary shots.

I used my digital on several pictures.

CHAPEL!!! 

Over the summer I took wedding pictures for a couple in my home church. 

This was my first wedding to shoot, so I must say I was a bit nervous. I think I took about 300 pictures total. A bit of overkill, but I really didn't want to mess it up. 

These are a few of the wedding pictures that I liked. It was a good experience all in all. 

Lighting is one of the most fun things to shoot... 

...although it is probably one of the stupidest things to shoot 

I mean what can be smart about standing out with an umbrella and a metal tripod waiting for high voltage electricity to strike something besides you. Anyway it's fun, not to mention really cool when you catch something
